Ever since I saw Pitch Black, years ago, I've wanted a pair of goggles like Riddick wore. The new release of The Chronicles of Riddick kick-started my creative juices. So to speak. So here they are! They're made entirely of leather, all super-glued together, and dyed black. Man, super glue works amazingly on leather, bonds it really tight. The lenses are from a pair of dark sunglasses I bought at the store for this project. I used a dremel to grind them into the correct shape. They're lightweight, and acutally surprisingly comfortable to wear. They do an excellent job of blocking out light. Enjoy!



I actually have a couple pairs up for sale right now, just do an ebay search for "riddick goggles".

They'll probably sell out pretty fast, so if you miss it, just keep checking ebay with those keywords every week or so.

Great job! I've been looking around for Riddick-style goggles for some time now, but it never occurred to me to make them myself! Using leather was a great idea, and the whole thing is really sharp!
